Martie Maguire, (neé Erwin), (born October 12, 1969) is an American country music songwriter, recording artist and musician, born in Dallas, Texas and currently residing in Austin, Texas. Martie and her sister Emily started busking on the streets of Dallas, Texas back in 1989.

She married Gareth Maguire, a Roman Catholic from Northern Ireland in a civil ceremony in Hawaii, before a Catholic "blessing" ceremony was held in the groom's hometown in County Antrim. Erwin said that the Catholic Church would not permit a wedding service due to her prior marriage which ended in divorce. She also said that some of her husband's co-religionists had referred to her as a "heathen". It is not clear whether she agreed to raise their children as Catholics. During promotion of the album Home, the Dixie Chicks made frequent reference to the fact that "White Trash Wedding" was written about Martie and Gareth's nuptuals.

Martie and Gareth have two children, twin daughters Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, born April 27, 2004.
